My name is Robert Koene. I am a floral designer by craft, a teacher by nature, and a lifelong student of beauty, structure, and intention.
Some colleagues call me “The Maestro.” Not for show, but for how I work. Like a conductor, I bring rhythm, balance, and discipline to every floral composition, guiding each element into a clear and unified whole.
For me, floristry is both intuitive and refined. It lives between creativity and precision—where vision meets technique, and emotion takes shape through craftsmanship. Every design is created with purpose. It belongs to a moment and is meant to be felt as much as it is seen.
Through this blog, I share thoughts on flowers, weddings, events, design, and leadership, along with quieter observations shaped by years of work across cultures and industries.
I’m glad you’re here.
